Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) has seen its breakthrough 100% electric-powered 2012 Mitsubishi receive yet another prestigious accolade with today's announcement by Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com that the Japanese auto manufacturer's all-new EV has made its "10 Best Green Cars of 2012" list.
In naming the 2012 Mitsubishi i to the 2012 list of "10 Best Green Cars," Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com proclaimed that "the newest all-electric car on the block is also the least expensive and has the best mile per gallon equivalent of them all."

Mitsubishi Delivers First 'i' Electric Cars to Google, IGO CarSharing
The FINANCIAL -- Sharing Mitsubishi Motors North America has delivered the first fleet vehicle orders of the environmentally-friendly and affordably-priced 100% electric-powered 2012 Mitsubishi i to search engine giant Google and car sharing service IGO CarSharing.
MMNA and Capitol Mitsubishi of San Jose, California, delivered the high-tech yet fun-to-drive 2012 Mitsubishi i electric vehicles to Google's corporate headquarters on Wednesday, February 29, at the Google Solar Carport. The Mitsubishi i EVs add to GFleet, the company's employee car-sharing fleet that consists entirely of plug-in vehicles.
Google has installed the largest corporate electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the U.S. at its headquarters in Mountain View, California. Mitsubishi shows how electric cars could connect with the home of the future
When he was a struggling young stand-up comedian, American talk show superstar Jay Leno lived in his car for a time. Sounds romantic, and no doubt the car was some enormous 1950s Buick or Oldsmobile.
Now try and imagine emergent comedian Jack Whitehall living in the diminutive Mitsubishi i-MiEV. Doesn’t quite work, does it? But we must admit, that was the first image that occurred to us when we heard tell of the Mitsubishi ‘MiEV House’.

Or not, because the car we’re here to drive is as clean as they come. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, which in October last year became the first to register a full electric vehicle in Malaysia, is launching its Eco-Tourism Pilot Demonstration Program, starring the i-MiEV.

With a combined rating of 2.1 litres per 100 kilometres, the 2012 Mitsubishi i MiEV is the most fuel-efficient mass produced vehicle in Canada today.
Canada today. If fuel economy is your goal, electric cars, and especially the Mitsubishi i MiEV, are the only way to go. It only uses 1.9 Le (Litres equivalent) per 100 kilometres in the city.
For those who are having a hard time with metric measures, let me put it another way: The i MiEV is rated at 148.67 miles per gallon.
The news gets better. Electricity is much cheaper than gasoline. Using electricity, the i MiEV costs the equivalent of 1.3 cents to cover a kilometre, about 80 to 90 per cent less than a conventional gasoline-powered car.
